We partnered with Gravesham Borough Council to create a tourism-led place brand aimed at boosting economic growth.
We partnered with Gravesham Borough Council to develop a tourism-led place brand that supports economic growth by attracting visitors, businesses, and investment. Recognising the opportunity to appeal to new and existing audiences, the Council sought to promote Gravesham’s unique destination offer.
The project began with a review of Gravesham’s place vision, supported by client data and stakeholder research. Objectives included establishing clear key messages, creating a distinct brand identity, and developing creative concepts that differentiate Gravesham.
We delivered a comprehensive place brand toolkit, including a full brand book with visual assets, messaging guidelines, and campaign templates. Creative outputs included:
- The Visit Gravesham brand
- A place video for social media, website, and presentations
- The ‘Like This’ campaign, now rolling out across social channels
- Southeastern train advertising and town centre window displays
Gravesham’s new place brand highlights its strategic location—just 20 miles east of London—and celebrates its contrasts: historic riverside towns, idyllic Kentish villages, and areas of natural beauty. By building a cohesive, inspiring narrative, the campaign positions Gravesham as an accessible, vibrant destination for visitors, businesses, and investors.
